Metro 2033 is a horror, survival, FPS game based on Dmitry Glukhovksy‘s novel of the same name.
A nuclear war between Russia and the USA in 2013 almost erased life on earth. The few thousand people who survived on the Moscow Metro also start to live in metro stations.
In a short time, stations adopt their own religion and ideology, fight with each other, and form alliances. While these are happening in the subway, mutants make it even more difficult for humanity to survive.
Because of the toxic air on the surface, you can only breathe with masks, only for a limited time unit.
The story begins with Artyom meeting a guardian nicknamed Hunter. Soon the station is attacked by mutants. Hunter, who goes after the mutants to track them down, gives Artyom his tag and asks him to go to the Police and find Miller.
And so the story begins.
Although the plot of the game starts simple, it gradually deepens and goes towards strange points.
It is among the best games that can match the consistency of subway survival, stealth, fps game examples.
The guns carried in the subway, which is as generous as the story, can be modified according to the player’s request.
The variety of enemies in the game is good enough. In almost every episode, you encounter a new type of enemy. Some of them even have weaknesses that you should lookout.
If you like exploring the dark subways, wandering around the post-apocalyptic city of Moscow, and killing mutants, we highly recommend you to play Metro 2033.
